OVERVIEW

The Miller School of Albemarle cycling team is an internationally recognized school-based girls and boys junior development cycling program. The team has twenty-eight riders from around the world and focuses on road cycling, XC mountain biking, cyclocross, and enduro mountain biking. All athletes are full-time students at the Miller School of Albemarle—a coeducational day and boarding school for grades 8-12 located in Charlottesville, Virginia.

OUR roads

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, MSA is surrounded by seemingly endless world-class roads. From the Blue Ridge Parkway’s iconic climbs to beautiful gravel roads, the options for daily rides is unmatched.

OUR trails

Athletes have immediate access to sixteen miles of purpose-built mountain bike trails on Miller School’s 1,600-acre campus. The trails include machine-built flow trails, technical enduro lines, and two cross-country race courses. Widely considered one of the best private trail networks on the East Coast, MSA trails are one of the crown jewels of the cycling program.

OUR SHOP

Our coaching staff works in-person with athletes seven days a week. From long training rides to detailed power analysis, our team of coaches push athletes to be their best on and off of the bike every day. This unique approach to coaching produces remarkable outcomes.
