What do you like most about being a student-athlete at MSA?

I like that being here gives me plenty of time to train during the week, and I don’t have to worry about staying up late trying to finish my homework.

What is your favorite class at MSA and what do you like about it?

My favorite class is art. It’s peaceful in the art room and I am constantly drawing. Other than cycling art is something that I love to do.

What is your favorite race of the year and why?

So far my favorite race is Intelligencia. Even though I’ve only done 4 out of 9 days of crit racing, each course is better than the last and the idea of doing 9 crit races back to back is amazing. The competition out there is also tough.

What is your favorite training ride/route and why?

My favorite training route is Old Lynchburg. I like it because it is really fast route and I like the fun twisty downhills that are on it.

What are your pre-race rituals/routines?

I like to listen to music while I draw to calm my nerves. I either talk a lot or don’t talk at all. It honestly depends on how tired I am. The day of a race I almost always have on headphones.

List 3 songs on your pre-race playlist:

Gary Clark Jr. and Junkie XL-Come Together

Skip Marley- That’s Not True

Lila Ike- Solitude

Any other interesting things about you that you’d like to share?
